Santa visit

We had a great time when Santa visited our house! Patrick was the first to talk to him and also loved holding Santa's bag. Andrew and his friends loved talking to Santa after most kids left too. Very cute.

While the oldest is at a sleepover, the other two who dubbed themselves the The Ho Ho Workers moved all the Christmas stuff in attic eaves to the opening. What hard workers!

Then we found leftover bubbles and sparklers from the summer so we used up all of those on the porch!

Tomorrow I take the older two to Phineas and Ferb live show...they don't know yet!

We need to reign in the fun for these kids. HA!

Tricky Ricky

Tricky Ricky surprised the boys by flying ahead of us and meeting us at the place where we tagged our Christmas tree! He came home with us that day since 'he was tired of flying'

The boys were SO excited to see him. Andrew was hoping this year that Tricky Ricky would be in other rooms besides the great room. Tricky Ricky must have heard him since today we found him hanging out on the microwave.

We opened one present each on Christmas Eve...and I had the boys in their matching pj's both Eve and morning. So cute! The boys were very excited to get their skateboards! I dont have a pic of Patrick opening his batman cave but there was that video :)

Tricky Ricky

As promised, here is Tricky Ricky; Patrick named him. He visited us during the day and reports back to Santa at night. He tells Santa what the boys really want for Christmas and also if the boys are being good. When Ricky came back in the morning, he was in a different spot in the great room. Because Tricky Ricky 'got lost' on the way here this year and arrived later, he was full of energy and moved a lot during the day while no one was in the great room.

The boys were really sad to see him go when the Christmas tree was taken down...but Tricky Ricky left behind some great tickets for us to go snow tubing!

We had a real Santa visit us today! It was great fun! The boys had 11 of their friends over too :)

We had a nice day at my brother and sister in law's house for Christmas this year. My poor niece broke her arm--in 2 spots no less--2 days before but she was still a good sport. It was great seeing my other niece that lives in AZ as well.

House making...

This is the first time I have bought gingerbread houses/trains for the boys....it was fun although several times, the house and train collapsed!

i asked andrew what he wanted to get korey for christmas...he immediately said: snowpants so daddy can play king of the mountain with me and not wear his jeans that get wet....isnt he so sweet. so i went and found some snowpants to get andrew's daddy :)

Santa letters

Here are the boys letters to Santa. Andrew told me what he wanted to write and we worked on pronouncing out the words and writing them. Korey wrote Patrick's for him.

Andrew's says 'I been very good, Santa Claus. I want Cars from Lightning. Andrew. I am 5.'

I was taking pics of them together but I cropped both of these b/c well...you just can't get a good one of BOTH of them smiling!

Petrini Christmas

Petrini Christmas was at our house this year....I think it went rather nicely other than the main meal wasn't done till 3pm but....that meant more hanging out time :)

There were several more versions of family ones...the girls, the boys, dad in some but these, I am sure will do for your viewing pleasure!
