Tracked down some maple syrup

One thing that people should know about me is that I LOVE real maple syrup. To me, there is NO such other thing. I would prefer not having waffles or pancakes if I can't have real maple syrup and I don't even understand how someone can suggest Aunt Jemina's or anything else fake!

I knew we didn't have have any, we had run out so luckily after 6 phone calls, I found my local supplier. Phew! It might be waffles for supper tonight!!!

If you want her phone number, let me know! The price has gone up from last year which makes the local hardware store and convenient store's prices more understandable! (Seriously who would think that the local hardware store would have maple syrup??? Only in my town!).
YUM!!!!!

that is really funny that you grew up in MA and never had any. We always had real maple syrup...umm till my dad lost his job one year and then we switched to fake. Hah, the things you remember ;)

It is the only way to have homemade waffles and pancakes. But of course it's not cheap! I am sure Korey really just enjoyed me writing out a $32.50 check for 1/2 gallon of syrup!

I prefer the fake stuff because that's what I grew up with, but I only buy real syrup because I don't want the kids eating high fructose corn syrup in large amounts. Costas refuses the real stuff so he gets no syrup at all.
