i have been scammed

i have ordered numerous things from vista print over the past few years.
but today i noticed a 17.95 charge on my credit card from vista print rewards. i then looked into past months; 3 charges! then i called discover...and realized these charges have been 14.95 for the past year.
i never noticed b/c we dont get statements from discover; korey pays online and went paperless. holy crap. so obviously i changed that so i can see what we are being charged now.

but i dont think i am going to get any money back from this 'service' for the past year. i cant believe i never saw this; well i guess i can believe it b/c we havent been getting statements. i cant believe i have been bamboozled.

so my advice is: dont order from vistaprint. apparently 'i signed up for something' by clicking or not clicking on something on their site. i have heard of several other people being bamboozled by them but never thought it happened to me and it has been for a year. i am calling them tomorrow b/c of course they arent open now. i found a weird website of theirs to cancel this service but as far as my $279, i think that is long gone. so much for 'free notecards, etc' from them.

i am so pissed.

That's a huge "OUCH!"
I hope they'll work with you and will credit you your money since you weren't made aware that they were going to add the additional charges to your card.

Don't they have to give you some sort of notification that they're charging you?

Hello, I’m Jeff Esposito, an employee in VistaPrint’s public relations group, and I saw your blog entry on our rewards program and wanted to reply. On behalf of VistaPrint I am sorry you feel you’ve had a negative experience with our rewards program. VistaPrint believes that the vast majority of our customers who sign up for the program really enjoy the benefits, but if you are not happy, please call 866.870.4124 and we’d be happy to issue a refund. We’re open from Mon – Fri 8 am – 9 pm EST.

Hi Jeff
Not sure if you will look back here but thanks for your note. As you can see from my next entry, I did speak with your customer service folks and hope to see the money refunded. I am still not even sure what the reward program IS but I am happy that people like it :) when they sign up for it! ha!
Have a great day; thanks for writing.

According to the Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/05/06/AR2006050600160_pf.html this negative option selling scam earned the parent company Ventura $650 million in revenue in 2006.
