Looking a Gift Horse in the Mouth

We had our last Christmas celebration today! It's all over now! It was great seeing more family today and having my sister for the Yankee Swap this year and she had me too. I think both of us know that if we like something the other one will like it too. Her stuffed shells was quite tasty as well.

On another note, it never ceases to amaze me that some people enjoy buying clothes and toys from Dollar Tree and Big Lots. Even after I gave very increased sizes, the clothes don't fit and the toys are junk--either already broken before we opened them or shortly are breaking now. Umm, why bother? I would rather people save their money or buy a package of Hot Wheels for the kids than to spend more money than that for toys we are throwing out and clothes we are goodwilling!

OHHHH!!! I had a great time last night seeing two middle/high school friends; we went to Common Man in Concord. The food was great and the company was even better. I tried out my new GPS system but it took me on an extended trip to Exit 17 on 93 instead of Exit 13. Maybe the GPS was mad at me! haha!

More pics soon.

it is the thought till my kids ask why doesnt this work, why cant we use it (as it's broken), etc. I am saving myself the tears.

i'm always afraid toys from there have lead or some other yucky chemicals in them. they always seem to have toys recalled from there.
