Rules for the “Five Random Facts”: Each player starts with five random facts/habits/stories about themselves. Anything will do. Be creative. The person who is tagged needs to write a post on their own blog (about their five things) and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose one person to get tagged and list their name/blog. Don’t forget to leave a comment on their blog telling them they’re tagged and to read your blog.
1. I always wanted to be a mom. I loved being pregnant and wearing my fun dresses to work. I loved when random people asked if I was pregnant. I love having my baby shower. I loved that I got to eat ice cream every night. (And yes, in case you haven't guessed it, I never had morning sickness). I loved that I was able to get pregnant right away. The only thing I *didn't* love was delivery and not getting the epidural soon enough either time (which in my book of definitions is BEFORE the pain starts!!!). Okay, I also *didn't love* being induced with Patrick for no apparent reason other than it was convenient for my doctor! That was dumb.
But I love being a mom. I love cuddles, I love "I love you's", I love when either boy hug my leg because they are scared or don't want to talk to someone. I even like rocking sometimes in the middle of the night after they got me up from my slumber because I know there will be a time when they won't do that anymore.
And I would *love* to do ONE MORE TIME....
2. I love to scrapbook, read books, watch trash tv, eating out. I love creating my scrapbook pages. I love to read in bed in the mornings (Thanks to Korey for taking the boys downstairs on weekends so I can still do that for a little bit). I love DVR and zipping through commercials on my shows so I can watch even more. And I love lobster bisque for appetizer and creme brulee for dessert--any restaurant with both of those is a keeper in my book!
One more thing that I love: I love my garden in the summer. I have many memories of my family's garden when I was growing up (picking beans all the time!!!) and I would like our boys to have them too. I love eating veggies that I grew.
3. It may not be PC to say this but I like not going to work. I never loved any of my jobs but I was good at selling and I am a hard worker and work faster than most people (I used to have other reps mad at me because I blew them away on amount of phone calls AND I still had time to play on the internet). Someday I would like to work part time but I like sleeping in (if 7:30am is considered sleeping in before Andrew comes in our room to cuddle for an hour before we get up), staying in my jams and playing with the boys (and catching up on tv...Korey shouldn't read that last part)
4. I am a bit claustrophobic. I can't play in a tent for very long at all with the boys. I hate it if someone throws a blanket over me.
5. I have been requested by Korey to change my last item so if you want to know what it WAS, I will tell you via email. HAHA! Let's see...how about something funny about me growing up. My parents had creative punishments for us. If we were bad, we had to sit on the toilet (fully clothed) but it was just boring. I think they got that one from my crazy Uncle Eduardo. The other one that was a favorite....we moved to Sanbornton and there was this big hill full of rocks. The punishment for being mouthy or whatever was to 'fill a bucket'....they were 5 gallon buckets. So we filled the bucket and then it was dumped at the bottom of the hill to form the rock wall that is still there. It was 'Punishment Hill' I think...
I am going to tag my favorite cousin LeeAnn.

I don't have a blog, but I will tell you 5 things about me.
I love being a Nana, even though I didn't think I would, but it is the best thing in the world.
I love Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates, and he just moved to Kittery. Now if I could lose 50 pounds.
I love swimming in pools and relaxing in hot tubs.
I love to cruise. If you haven't done it yet, book a cruise. There are some that are out of Boston, and yes I am going this year out of Boston to Bermuda.
I love being me, cause I wouldn't want to be anyone else!
I am so glad you didn't tag me!
OH man what in the heck am I supposed to do now? geesh.....
I loved everything that came along with pregnancy too. Maybe not the gaining weight part. I just read through your last posts, you're getting a scrapbooking room?? I don't scrapbook but would love a craft room. You'll have to post pictures when the room is done.

Okay, JUST checking this out NOW! You are too funny - how I would LOVE to stay home, just not going to happen. Jay has the perfect job for staying home 3 days a week. I love my flower garden - looks like the deer ate even more this winter. Don't know if I can do the veggies though. Trash tv is great - Chelsea Lately and Celebrity Rehab are a few of my favs!

I'll have to come up with some different stuff for my blog, but ditto for loving pregnancy and being a mom to two boys, love DVR, love staying home (but Costas gets me up before 6am) so no sleeping in :(
I like the creative punishments. Very fun!
It's funny how some posts just draw people in to react and comment (I know we both love that...proof people are reading)!
Good job Lorraine, I feel like i know you even better! You ARE a fast worker by the way! And I love staying home too!
I agree, I know we are setting women back but I too would rather never work ever again.I like my job when I am there but as I get closer to the days I am working I start to dread it at least two days before every week.It is my fault, I was home and thought I missed working and went back willingly, what an idiot!haha!I love to be home with my kids!
Good stories! This is fun! I have to check if Leann did hers yet.
ps email me what korey thought you should delete!
PC or not, I think it's wonderful that you're a stay at home mom!
You'll have to spill the beans about what Korey didn't want you to post now, you know that??!
Awesome Lorraine! Glad to get to know you better! Hope to see you at Mary's sometime!
